GMS joins the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren)
as among the First Unlisted “J-Startup” Companies
Expanding the Possibility of Partnerships and Accelerating its Social-Problem-Solving Businesses

Global Mobility Service, inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President-director corporate executive officer/CEO: Tokushi Nakashima, hereafter referred to as "GMS") notifies its admission to the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) as of March 1, 2019.

GMS is a “J-Startup” selected company which develops a truly “sustainable” business model of economic rationality mainly in the emerging countries in order to solve social problems (societal structures which lack the opportunity for individuals to escape from poverty). We are not limited to providing our own IoT technology and Fintech, but also create a structure along with finance companies, infrastructure companies, mobility makers, local governments, etc. while recognizing the local needs of each country.

Our business is also evaluated as a model case for SDGs, and is compatible with Society 5.0 promoted by the Japan Business Federation, contributing to the development of society by disseminating opinions from a new far-seeing perspective. In addition, we hope that our membership will expand the possibilities of partnerships beyond industries with Keidanren members, and will lead to further acceleration in open innovations.

As a global startup from Japan specializing in financial inclusion business, GMS aims at creating a system in which every individual is correctly evaluated for their work. Through our vision “We make people happy through the provision of mobility service,” we work toward this aim in the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Japan. In order to create opportunities for the 2 billion people who do not have access to financial services, we, along with our partners, will continue our efforts as a social-problem-solving company.
